Did you know that you can make the sidebar for your Twitter account transparent? Well, you can when you make a few changes to your design settings. To make the sidebar appear invisible, change your text color, because a transparent sidebar may not look appealing, if the text is a similar color to the background on your Twitter profile page.
Type your Twitter profile page name in the URL search field on your Web browser and press the “Search” button. After the Web page loads, click the “Sign In” hyperlink located near the top of the page on the right-side. Type your user name or email address and password into the appropriate fields. Click the “Sign In” button.
Click on the drop-down menu arrow next to your Twitter profile name and select the “Settings” option from the menu list. If you’re using the old Twitter design version, you will see the “Settings” hyperlink on the menu bar. Press the “Design” tab, and scroll down to the bottom of the Web page.
Click on the “Change design colors” button. A row of five small color boxes will appear on the page that are named Background, Text, Links, Sidebar and Sidebar Border. Don’t change the color shown for the “Sidebar” box. But if your prefer, you can can the change the colors for other boxes. Hover your mouse over the box that you want to change and click on it. Move your mouse over an area on the gradient color chart to select a color, or type the HTML hexadecimal value for the color that you want to use in the field box.
Press the “Save changes” button when you’re done.
Go to your Web browser and click on the web address that’s displayed in the URL search field and delete it. To perform the next step, copy and paste the following java-script programming code in the URL search field on your browser.
Press the “Enter” key on your keyboard. Scroll down to the bottom of the Web page, and click the “Save changes” button again.
Click on the drop-down menu arrow next to your Twitter profile name and select the “Sign out” option from the menu list. To view the changes that you made to your Twitter account, type your Twitter profile page name in your Web Browser.
